Concert Date confirmed as the 12th of December, together with the Rheindahlen Music Centre at St. Boniface Church. We will not be singing at the Anglo-German Carol Service. Christmas Carol singing on JHQ possibly the 20th of Dec.

I have informed Joanna Dunlop that we will be singing for the LNotP.
History pages updated.
AGM and Social on the 26th of April - we need to elect a new Chairman and other officials!

The consensus of members is that we should sing at the Last Night of the Proms. I will speak with Joanna Dunlop and organise music etc. This would be a good opportunity to enlist new members - particularly sopranos.

The Choral Society has been asked to take part in the JHQ show. It would be excellent publicity for us. I will be asking members if they can participate, and would hope that we could.
This is the info that I have so far:
"The 3rd July is the JHQ Golden Jubilee music festival here in JHQ. The musical event is based around a large covered stage and the music will be supplied by different bands, from the MG orchestra, Military bands to May Queen and music from the 60's, 70's ,80's and 90's. The finale will be two military bands performing the Last Night of the Proms style music with fireworks in the background. The question is would the choral society like to provide the vocal lead for The Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem etc."

In the same vein - the Choral Society urgently requires a Rehearsal Pianist. Please forward any names to Ray Ross.
